NEU Systèmes Ferroviaires was founded on January 1, 1991 with a capital of 1 million Francs.

However do not be misled by appearances, this very young company has a very long history and almost a century of experience in the NEU group.


This group knows everything there is to know about Air, since its business is based on air and it uses it differently in all its techniques and contracts.


Spurred by its many successful air treatment applications, particularly in the nuclear and marine sectors, protected environments (medical and electronic rooms), and for military applications, the NEU group decided to widen the range of its markets to include railways. Thus in 1975, it formed the Railway Systems department.

At the time, this department in the NEU group made the company into a French supplier with a very high potential offering complete heating and ventilation service for railways.

At the end of the 1980s, competition on the European market became fiercer. Companies found it necessary to reorganize themselves, and in 1989 NEU SA transformed its departments into subsidiaries. Before its turn came to become an independent subsidiary, the Railway Systems spent some time under the auspices of the CLIMA NEU company. This company is specialized in air conditioning, and input its experience and know how into the field of onboard air in railways.

The new NEU Systèmes Ferroviaires company tripled the sales of its activity during the first year that it was in business.
